Description
This friendly country-style hotel is located opposite the 14th-century Benedictine Abbey of Ettal in a mountain village. It is 11 km from the magnificent 19th-century Linderhof Castle. The bright, cosy rooms are only accessible via a staircase and offer a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. There is no air conditioning. Some rooms have a balcony with a view of the monastery or the mountains. The suites and flats have a living room and a kitchenette. Children up to the age of 5 stay free of charge. Dining options include a stylish German restaurant, a Bavarian parlour and a beer garden. There is also an indoor pool and a spa with sauna and whirlpool. Breakfast is available for an extra charge.
