It is still the home away from home for so many politicians and celebrities and enjoy excellent service through an excellent reputation. Built in 1889 Hotel Majestic is a veritable jewel neoclassic elegance. Located in the heart of Old Town, on the famous Via Veneto, the hotel is just a short walk from the Spanish Steps and the gardens of Villa Borghese. After the sixties the hotel to the stage of the movie was Fellini's "Dolce Vita". In 1990 it was renovated from the ground up and equipped with all technical innovations, so that it regained the glory and splendor of past times. The hotel forms part of its architecture and its design is not only well-curved in the Via Veneto, but with its Art Deco style in the old town. Spectacular painted ceilings, unusual antiquities and a truly impeccable service are hallmarks of the Majestic. The house offers 98 beautifully decorated rooms and suites, completely renovated and remodeled in 2008. Each equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, satellite and pay TV, VCR, telephone, electronic safe, mini bar and desk. The rooms also feature a luxurious and fully equipped bathroom with white Carrara marble. Each room has been carefully studied and designed with a unique combination of furniture, fabrics and curtains. The beds have eight different sizes and covers made of pure linen.
