Essen's most popular local recreation destination, Lake Baldeney, is right on the doorstep of the Hügel multi-storey car park. Guests will find here a rich offer of activities and entertainment: the lake promenade for long walks, jogging, cycling, boat trips, sailing (international regatta course), surfing. The traditional Essen club ETUF, located directly next to the hotel, offers 16 tennis courts, 3 indoor courts and a 9-hole golf course. Two further 18-hole golf courses are only five kilometres away from the Hügel multi-storey car park. If you still have time to enjoy the city of Essen and the Ruhr area, let yourself be inspired by the selection of sights. The host will be happy to put together a personal selection for you. We will be happy to provide our guests with a combined ticket from the Essen public transport company for free use. There is a bicycle rental station right next to the house.
