Description

The Golfhotel Kaiserin Elisabeth, approx. 30 km from Munich, on the western shore of Lake Starnberg, is nestled in a spacious park with its own tennis court. It has been family-owned since 1905 and was one of the favourite resorts of Elisabeth, the Empress of Austria. Directly at the house is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Bavaria. The Starnberger See, a popular excursion destination of the Munich society, offers all possibilities of water sports and recreation. The hotel is an ideal starting point for excursions to the royal castles of Ludwig II, baroque churches, the rose island and the Buchheim Museum. The golf hotel has 63 individually furnished guest rooms (108 beds). Sauna, fitness equipment, tennis court and bicycles are available free of charge. Stylishly furnished event rooms and a large roofed restaurant terrace with an unobstructed view of the lake and the Alps make events and family celebrations an unforgettable experience. Our guests can also use the hotel lobby, a cosy beer bar and the fireplace bar for the winter months.
